Regional alumni events are planned and sponsored by the SVD Alumni Association. While reunions and other events may be in locations that attract alumni from specific seminaries and formation programs, all gatherings sponsored by the SVD Alumni Association are open to alumni of all ages from all SVD schools.

Many alumni plan small gatherings of classmates or other friends. If these are open to all, the SVD Alumni Association will advertise and promote the events. Alumni at Miramar, Bordentown and Bay St. Louis have their own alumni organizations. However, the Alumni Director of the SVD Alumni Association will help them in any way possible to make their event successful.

Look over the dates and events, pick one that is either close to your home or your heart, and join us for a day, evening or weekend of SVD hospitality!

• FEBRUARY 9-16
  Jamaica Mission Experience
  Come join the Divine Word Missionaries in Morant Bay, Jamaica, for a week of mission activities—assist in building a home, visit the sick, help with Bible study classes and enjoy the social aspects of living in community for a week.
  
  
• JUNE 7
  Annual Techny Golf Outing and Steak Cookout
  Join us for nine holes of golf, followed by a steak cookout on the picturesque grounds of Techny. Click HERE for more information and to get registered!
  
  
• JUNE 20-28
  West Virginia Mission Experience
  Join fellow alumni and the Divine Word Missionaries in Gassaway, West Virginia, for a week of helping out. The work is hard but satisfying, and the scenery is spectacular.
  
  
• JUNE 26
  East Troy Picnic
  This year, groups are already beginning to buzz. Members of the Class of 1960, along with those from 1950 through 1954, are making plans to get together. Mark the date and give us a call!
  
  
• AUGUST 7-8
  Perrysburg Reunion in Louisville, Kentucky
  Visit Churchill Downs, tour the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory and meet the chairman of one of Louisville’s philatelic organizations. We moved the location from Detroit to Louisville to make it easier for those of you from the South to join us. Headquarters will be at the Galt House Hotel. • OCTOBER 1-3
  Pittsburgh Reunion
  Once again, we invite alumni to the great city of Pittsburgh, home of the Penguins and Steelers. Come dine with us on Friday on top of Mt. Washington and attend Mass in the chapel of the 100-year-old Society of the Divine Word home just up the street from the Holiday Inn. • OCTOBER 7-8
  Miramar Reunion
  The alumni at Miramar are very interested in having any and all SVD alumni who live in the area to visit and see what they are doing as an alumni group to support the missions and each other. We will honor three Miramar alumni who are celebrating their golden jubilee as priests: Frs. Joe Connolly, Jack Farley and Ray Hannah.
