Pray

May the darkness of sin and the night of unbelief vanish before the light of the Word and the Spirit of Grace.
And may the Heart of Jesus live in the hearts of all. Amen.

St. Arnold Janssen envisioned the Arnoldus Family as men and women, who by their lives and ministry share the Good News of God’s presence and love for all people. He believed that To do this we ourselves need to be men and women of prayer, people who live in God’s presence.

In prayer, we open ourselves to the God in whom we live, move, and have our very being. We know that God is our “Abba” and we are God’s beloved sons and daughters. With prayer, we become more aware and open to the presence and actions of God in ourselves, in others and in the events of our world. The more open we are to God, the more our relationship with God grows and the more our hearts become like the heart of Jesus. Then we truly become missionaries through whom God can work to accomplish God’s mission in our world.
